Be Part of Staten Island Cinematic History!

Maybe you've seen me around- I took a road trip around Staten Island last August for a documentary I'm producing about our borough. I'm nearing completion and filling in the soundtrack. I'm looking for original Staten Island-made music. If you'd like your work and your credits in a film that will be screened all over the island in October, and hopefully beyond, please send me a link where I can hear your stuff.
Keep in mind: the video is heavy on spoken sound-bytes, so lyric-heavy music will be hard to edit into the background.
At this time I'm specifically looking for a sinister, dangerous-sounding piece, to accompany the theme of suburban fear, but I'm open to all kinds of tracks.

ATTENTION BANDS
I have a recording studio / sound stage in tottenville. for the winter months we are running specials on many different packages
multi track recordings, full video shoots, pre post production of video and audio. offsite multi track recording etc. etc. etc.
we have a full soundstage with the capacity to shoot video for bands upto 14 pieces, with full conventional lighting rig , moving lights and the inventory to endlessly expand on our packages.
we feature a pro tools accel 3 HD system and can track upto 32 tracks at once in house. this can of course easily be expanded
video direction, lighting design and recording credits of engineers are extensive and feature work with many national artists.
our chief engineer has multple platinum selling albums to his credit.
No local studio can compete with the equipment and talent offered.

Writer for future SiCo Zine?

At last night's meeting there was discussion about a future magazine that we could perhaps fund through a COAHSI grant. I think this is a fabulous, independent idea- one I do not believe will threaten or compete with AWE.

I am currently finishing my undergrad degree in Creative Writing and Dance, and would love to start discussing the prospects of a printed magazine that would feature political literature, artwork, poetry, short fiction, and important information on current events and dates...

Every generation and every group of people who set out, intentionally or not, to create an arts movement, are postmarked by their published literature.

Please email me so Ican get a list together of people interested in being contributing writers and editors for a SiCoLab/arts magazine.

One of my passions is editing and working with writers! It is what I do as a teacher and what I did through college, but I prefer working with serious writers who want to improve. We all have been to or worked at an event where minor issues developed into bigger problems. i am offering my services as a repair tech to any who run into these issues for any type of production event. my specialization is intelligent lighting, new fabrications such as audio/video rack development and equipment modifications. due to limited availability during the summer season most support will be handle across the phone but if free on-site appearance and service will be available. please do note that not every problem will be a quick fix but most issues will be able to addressed and handle accordingly
