SiCoLab is hosting a series of street fairs that will take place each
Saturday in August on the stretch of Van Duzer Street in front of The Cup
(local coffee shop and performance space.) In an effort to promote cycling,
recycling and a petition to expand bike lanes throughout Staten Island, I am
curating a mixed-media installation of bike wheels fashioned out of recycled
materials entitled "WE-CYCLE." You are invited to participate by making your
own wheel.

The only stipulations for contributions are that A) they be made

melissa west, post modern dancer/choreographer (sometimes poet) will be performing at Art by the Ferry with musical accompanist, Josh Sotomayor, at 120 Stuyvesant Place from 1.00pm-3.00pm. Expect shoes, harmonicas, words and funky yet beautiful movement.
