Beginners, if you like the first class stay for the intermediate! This is open to any student who has taken a photography course here before. It will cover details of the technical side of photography while working on nature photography and portraiture. $25.00

Adult Beginner Photography Workshop

August 15, 11am-1pm

In this 2 hour class, you will learn the basics of photography and leave with some great photos. $25 fee includes cameras and prints! If you don't have a camera, don't worry, we provide everything but individualized instruction will be given to those who bring their own cameras to learn.

Manners Can Be Fun (ages 4-6)

August 3-August 7, 10am -12 noon
Greetings, eye contact, speaking clearly, table manners, kindness, helping others and more! Lots of fun and terrific for development of social and communication skills!
$150. plus $10. registration fee

Photography Camp (Ages 7-11)

July 20-24, 9:30am - 12 noon

Learn basic photography using our digital cameras and printers. Self-portraits, Portraits, landscapes and Victorian dress vignettes and make your own pin-hole camera!
$175.00 plus $10 registration fee

Teen Photography Camp (Ages 12-17)

July 13-17, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Develop knowledge of photography-fine art, history, and lighting. No experience or camera needed!
$175.00 plus $10 registration fee

COAHSI is sponsoring an introductory Teaching Artist workshop, and would love to see some SICoLab members and friends attend. TUESDAY JULY 14th, 6:30-8, at the Noble's main lobby.

Maybe I should back up just a little. What's a teaching artist? They're artists who are active and productive in their own art, and who teach their art form in the schools or community settings. So this is not the same as being a certified art teacher in the schools, where you're on the school’s staff. It can be an excellent source of income for artists, and a meaningful type of work.

STATEN ISLAND OutLOUD OFFERS FREE CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG ISLANDERS

Staten Island OutLOUD invites Island youth, ages 10-18, to Young Writers OutLOUD, free workshops in creative writing and spoken-word performance. Our workshops begin Wednesday, July 1st, 2-4pm, and continue every Wednesday afternoon through August 12 at the Richmondtown branch of the New York Public Library, 200 Clarke Avenue.
